Totaljobs.com has partnered with BranchOut, the largest professional network on Facebook. From now on, whenever a jobseeker views a job ad on totaljobs.com, they will be able to see all of the people they are connected to who work at that particular company. This will allow users to utilise the full power of Facebook to power a job search, without worrying about embarrassing photos being seen by employers.
Signing up to the service allows people to create a professional profile on Facebook, linked to a main account. After all, 76% of employers check candidates' Facebook profiles during the recruitment process. BranchOut helps users find jobs, recruit talent and strengthen relationships with professional contacts. The partnership with totaljobs.com – the first of its kind in the UK – will allow BranchOut members to share interesting job posts with friends and communicate directly with employers, alongside building a network of professional contacts through their Facebook friends.
John Salt, website director at totaljobs.com explained: "This partnership will work in a complementary way to our website, which already attracts over 5 million jobseekers per month, linking the network to the thousands of job ads we have online."
